Let's start by distinguishing between Product Development and Sample Production.

During the Product Development stage, we address various aspects such as understanding your garment/project requirements, designing the garment, sourcing textile fabrics and trims, and creating the 2D sewing pattern along with 3D simulations.

Sample Production, on the other hand, involves achieving all the aforementioned tasks from the Product Development stage. During Sample Production, we may make adjustments to the 2D pattern if necessary, ensure compliance with technical requirements, and proceed to cut and sew the item.

Typically, the initial real-life (IRL) sample may require additional adjustments. Based on our experience, producing a second IRL sample is often necessary. This second sample aims to closely match your envisioned final product.

It's important to note that we are not miracle workers when it comes to textile fabrics. Each fabric possesses its own unique structure, yarn, weight, and composition. Therefore, it's unrealistic to expect perfection in the first sample, which we refer to as the V1 sample. We must understand the specific fabric used for the V1 sample before proceeding to create the V2 sample, which is expected to be 99.99% accurate. Additionally, even if you replicate the same garment using the same fabric a year ago, slight variations in the fabric's structure or composition by the manufacturer can affect the final outcome.

What Does Our Clothing Sample Production Service Include?

2D and 3D pattern development.

After we receive from you the sketch/drawing, we proceed to create the 2D pattern and 3D simulation. Beforehand, we will need from you the following information: size guide of your fashion brand or your measurements, other 2D patterns that you developed for your previous items (will help), the technical details about the textile fabrics that will be used on the sample.

IRL Version 1 Sample – V1 Sample

After we present you the 3D simulation, we proceed to cutting the fabrics and sewing the item. Most of the time, this V1 sample will not be the perfect one, and we will need to make some small adjustments to the 2D pattern that will be reflected in the 3D simulation as well.

IRL Version 2 Sample – V2 Sample

We proceed directly to cutting and sewing the fabric for the second sample. This V2 sample comes with a lot of knowledge that follows after the V1 sample, and this one must be close to perfection.
